Diners have described the warm bread melting the butter slightly, with a generous amount of bean paste. One person spread a thin layer of the paste over the thick toast, a reminder that each bite can be portioned to taste.

For a more savoury option, try the house-made egg toast. It costs 450 yen on its own or 800 yen in the weekday-only set with dark-roast coffee. Diners who chose the egg toast for breakfast have also spoken favourably of it.
